The Japanese company C.E.C. is a brand with a grand history. Shortly after its founding in 1954, C.E.C developed belt-driven mechanisms, which were adopted by many major turntable manufacturers. In 1991, C.E.C introduced the first belt-driven CD transport, the famous TL1. Since then, C.E.C has further developed and refined belt-drive technology to the absolutely high level at which current CD players perform.
