Compared to previous Planet L models, this Performance version benefits from a thorough technical overhaul. Its new high-end coaxial driver combines a 165mm cellulose pulp mid-bass cone with a damping treatment and a 25mm silk dome tweeter, optimized with a Neodymium magnet and a waveguide for a more linear high-frequency extension. This design ensures a more even frequency response and uniform high-frequency dispersion while minimizing distortion.

The crossover, identical to that used in the Planet L Gold Edition, features high-quality audiophile components: MKP polypropylene capacitors, MKT polyester capacitors, low-resistance inductors, and 2.25mm² OFC internal wiring. This meticulous selection guarantees optimal frequency separation and exceptionally pure sound reproduction.

Tighter Bass and Enhanced Dynamics

Thanks to DAR® (Double Asymmetric Rubber) technology, the speaker’s peripheral suspension ensures perfect control, even at high volume levels. The bass-reflex tuning frequency is set at 50 Hz, perfectly aligned with the speaker’s resonance for optimal performance.
