Samson Marzbani is a French pianist with Persian and Indian roots. Since his youth, improvisation has been at the center of his artistic work. With Berlin Variations, the Samson Marzbani Ensemble presents a record that does not fit into any of the traditional categories.

On purely acoustic, in a broader sense classical instruments, the artists improvise completely freely - the result may remind one of music by Can or early Pink Floyd, but even this attempt at classification does not do justice to all aspects of this special music.
